Situated in beautiful and
peaceful surroundings on the edge of Bodmin Moor,
Lampen is...
a delightful 16th century farmhouse offering spacious
accommodation including lounge and garden for guest use. The
bedrooms are elegantly furnished, have en-suite shower rooms,
colour television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
All the rooms have lovely views overlooking the garden and
surrounding countryside.
A traditional English breakfast
is served in the dining room together with a selection of
cerials, fruits etc.
Lampen Farm is only a
few minutes walk from the picturesque village of St. Neot with
its beautiful church noted for it's stained glass, most of
which dates from the early 16th century. Situated in the
centre of the village is a general store with sub-post office,
a pretty tea-room and also a working studio pottery. The
popular London Inn also has a well patronised restaurant.
Take a short walk to
Carnglaze
for a guided tour through the unique centuries old caverns
created by local slate miners. See the famous subterranean
lake with its crystal clear blue-green water or maybe visit
the Holy Well which is an ancient site of historical interest.
Lampen is an
excellent location for visiting the very popular and exciting
Eden
Project, the
Lost Gardens of Heligan,
the beautiful north and south coasts, the many National Trust
properties plus of course spectacular Bodmin Moor.
